Correa

Correa list was updated on 17th October

Plants are listed as accurately as possible and orders will be filled on a first in first served basis.

  • Correas range in size from groundcover to about 3m in height, plus one small tree form.

  • They are autumn flowering but can flower throughout the year

  • Many Correas will grow in full shade but most do best with at least some sun.  Correa alba requires at least part sun

  • Correas are frost and drought hardy and dont like saturated roots

  • Correas are not normally fussy on soil pH and do well in clay as long as they are not waterlogged.

  • Correas are bird and bee attracting and provide great habitat for little birds

  • Prune after flowering is finished.  Avoid pruning when heavy frosts are still likely to occur
